Exceptional 2-day/2-night cruise aboard La Nébuleuse

La Nébuleuse Croisière 2j Lézardrieux (près de Paimpol) → Lézardrieux (près de Paimpol) 12 places
Bréhat: the archipelago of a hundred islets

At 8 PM, you are welcomed aboard to drop off your belongings and discover the sailboat alongside the crew. First contact with the deck, the sails, the wood weathered by sea spray… the journey has already begun.

The evening is free: you can dine at one of the restaurants in Lézardrieux (Auberge du Trieux, Crêperie Lez ar Dreo, Yacht-Club) or stroll along the harbor, lulled by the gentle lapping of the water and the nighttime whispers.

At 10:30 PM, return to the ship for the night, unless you prefer to extend the moment under the stars. Once in your bunk, discretion and gentleness are expected to preserve the comfort of everyone and the crew on board.

Around 9 a.m., after a convivial breakfast (large slices of bread, Breton butter, and local sweets), a safety briefing on deck followed by departure.

We leave the port and head down the Trieux, staying as close as possible to its stunning banks. The sailboat glides along, and everyone finds their place.

In front of the small island of Roc’h ar Hon, it’s time to hoist the sails. The maneuver is simple and accessible to everyone. Participation is optional… but enthusiasm is contagious. There’s something unique about gathering together on the deck of an exceptional large sailing yacht, in a pristine setting.

All sails unfurled, La Nébuleuse sails majestically among the hundred islets of the Bréhat archipelago. The landscape changes with the tides.

The crew shares their passion: traditional sailing, maritime history, anecdotes from life on board…

Lunch in a sheltered cove to drop anchor and serve the aperitif (to avoid any mutiny!).
The most daring guests dive before lunch, prepared by the ship’s chef.

Disembarkation on the main island (South Island), renowned for its microclimate. The guided walk takes you through sunken and narrow paths (no cars here), leading to the Birlot tidal mill, whose crew explains its history and operation.

Next, ascend to the Saint-Michel Chapel, the highest point in the archipelago: a spectacular panoramic view guaranteed.

Return to the sailboat, refreshment on board before choosing the anchorage in the estuary for the night.

The evening promises to be joyful and lively, set against an immense sky and passionate conversations.

Breakfast in a stunning setting.

You are now true teammates. Your movements are more confident, your shared glances speak volumes. Together, we hoist the sails. Some take the helm: heading toward the islets, their swaying seaweed fields, and their colonies of seabirds.

Carried by a strong current, we find ourselves back at the Bréhat archipelago and its 96 islands and islets.
The spectacle of the tides is fascinating: up to 12 meters of tidal range in six hours. Here, the sea transforms the landscape before your eyes, a phenomenon you have to experience to believe.

We take a detour to the Croix lighthouse to observe the seal colony located nearby. At a safe distance, we admire these marine mammals moving among the rocks and foam. The crew shares information about their habits, way of life, and remarkable adaptive abilities.

We then drop anchor in the Trou de la Souris, a natural setting bordered by granite rocks shaped by wind and sea. A place almost unreal, accessible only to those who sail.

Lunch on board in this privileged atmosphere, before disembarking on the islets.

The guided tour reveals an unexpected world: over 900 species of algae have been recorded around Bréhat. This fascinating plant, with its varied textures and colors, has multiple uses that the crew will reveal to you.
We also observe seabirds: gulls, cormorants, oystercatchers, and depending on the season, terns, brent geese, or migratory gulls.

Back on board, we resume our voyage. It’s an opportunity to discuss the monks who came from across the Channel to evangelize Brittany and settled on three of the Bréhat islands, an obscure chapter of local history that takes on its full meaning when viewed from the sea.
The main inhabited islands come into view once again: Logodec, Beniguet, l’île à Bois…

A final glass of friendship is shared on the deck.

In front of the old tidal mill of Coat Mer, we lower all the sails, pass by Brassens’ house, and then dock at the small port of Lézardrieux.

5:00 PM: the cruise comes to an end.

The crew parts ways after a wonderful adventure in the heart of landscapes and nature that are breathtakingly beautiful. Two days out of time, out of noise, out of the beaten path.
